Dear Swiss Cyber Community,

Fribourg – Seattle – Seoul – Paris and back. On March 10 and 11, we traveled around the world more than once to place a spotlight on the issues of cyber security, current and coming trends, and the impact on companies and individuals.

We would like to thank all 1,800 participants from the two days of the event for their valuable contribution. Many fascinating conversations took place and lots of interesting questions were asked, and we would like to thank our great speakers for their responses.

We are of course particularly proud that this year we were not required to close the doors after the event – our virtual platform is available now for everyone to watch the presentations, engage in networking and present their offerings. We will be communicating useful and important information via the platform on a regular basis, as well as offering regular virtual talks on current topics.

The story will continue throughout the rest of 2021, and we hope to come together again in person for the next Swiss Cyber Security Days on April 6/7, 2022!

Béat Kunz, CEO

Personal recommendations from our team

We asked some of our team members for their favorite presentations. Read about which ones they chose, and why you shouldn’t miss these speakers:

Nick Mayencourt, CEO Dreamlab – SCSD Program Director: My highlight has been the holistic coverage of all aspects in cyber security in Switzerland ranging from government, military, economy large and small,  education, research and innovation. It has been a particular pleasure to see all relevant actors of Switzerland and international organisations like CPI, ESA, WEF and the GCSP. All risks are global and as such this national platform as well is embedded and connected internationally.

Beat Kunz, CEO Swiss Cyber Security Days: My highlight was the panel with D. Neuenschwander and A. Zwinggi held on March 10 on space and the cyber frontier.

Sabine Fercher, Fercher Compliance SCSD Data Officer: My highlight was the CyberPeace Institute panel moderated by Monique Morrow and Jonas Schneiter on the road to global cyberpeace.

Doris Fiala, National Councilor – SCSD President: Some of my personal highlights were the presentations by General Didier Tisseyre, Florian Schütz and Dr. Jon Fanzun held on the main stage on March 10.

What now for the Swiss Cyber Security Days?
